Becoming more sustainable as a College depends on everyone in the College community playing their part.

As well as simple things like turning lights off when they are not required, and considering whether it is necessary to print things off, there are a number of other ways to get involved:

Promoting Good Practice

If you are doing something well at the College, or you know someone else who is, please let us know so that we can promote it throughout the College. Likewise, if you have any ideas about things we could be doing better, we would also like to hear them. Reporting Maintenance Issues

A dripping tap can waste up to 15 litres of water a day (Directgov) – and also wastes the energy used in treating, transporting and heating it. Prompt repairs can often save resources - if you see any maintenance issues around the College which need dealing with, please report them to Porters’ Lodge.

Environmental Sustainability Strategy Group

The College’s Environmental Sustainability Strategy Group advises the College on the development and implementation of its sustainability policy. Its membership is made up of students, staff and governors.
