About Kemble Farm
The College has educational access to the facilities at both Kemble and Leaze Farms.
This large dairy complex (just half a mile from the main College campus) provides outstanding opportunities for our students to learn about and experience all aspects of an increasingly large scale and dynamic industry.
The farm allows students access to observe the commercial management of a high-yielding, 750-cow, all-year-round calving dairy unit. In addition, it boasts an anaerobic digestion of slurry facility, employing the latest technology to generate electricity.
We are proud to be a LEAF Innovation Centre. Research and demonstration projects, often involving outside funding and other external organisations, are a continual part of the College farms' business and educational programme.
