College Responsibilities

  • Lecturing law and professionally related subjects across the College
  • Consultancy and training work with the College Business Development Centre
  • Involved with public relations, both nationally and internationally, for the College equine courses.
  • Co-ordinating sport at the College

Teaching Areas

  • Specialism in property related law, landlord and tenant especially, agricultural tenancies
  • Specialism in equine related law
  • In charge of equine undergraduate course placements

Other College Involvements

  • Contributor trainer to a number of leading educational charities, including the Nuffield charity, the Leadership course, and the John Edgar Trust
  • Co-ordinating training at the College through the Business Development Centre with blue chip companies and professionals
  • The British Association for Sport and the Law
  • The British Equestrian Writers Association

Extra College Interests

  • Farmers Club Scholar
  • A well-established sports presenter with radio and now establishing a growing portfolio for TV appearances. Background in the legal profession, including advocacy in courts of law, sparked enthusiasm for public speaking and media work, which led to the founding of his own communications business.
  • Also running training for commercial and private clients, including dealing with the media, intra-office communication skills, presentational skills, and networking for business.
  • Working on a private basis with students in respect of sports performance.

  • Sport, particularly rugby (former player with various teams including Wasps FC).

  • Travel and collecting unwanted change abroad.
