What you need to join the Course

The normal entry requirement will be a foundation degree or HND award passed with a merit profile in a cognate subject acceptable for entry to the specific honours pathway. Depending on previous studies, you may also be required, following individual interview, to complete additional ‘bridging’ studies, prior to enrolling on the honours course in order to cover identified gaps in previous learning.

Career Opportunities

The course provides an ideal foundation for careers in the broad equine-related industries. Typical employers will include breeding companies, training yards, equine marketing and promotion companies and equine feed companies, as well as running equestrian centres as part of the booming rural leisure industries.
