Our Undergraduate Degrees
Our undergraduate degree courses are designed to offer considerable flexibility to students. Those students with fewer than 240 UCAS points (300 points for RICS accredited programmes) have the opportunity to apply for a foundation degree with progression to an honours year available on completion. All BSc Honours courses are completed in three years and comprise 24 modules, eight in each academic year. Agriculture
The school is at the forefront of agricultural education, producing students who are articulate and equipped with academic knowledge and practical skills suited to a range of agricultural and rural sector employment opportunities.
Equine Management
Our equine department was set up in 1992 after extensive consultations with the various areas of the equine industry. Since that date, we have maintained our links with the industry and have continued to redefine the programme.
Business
Education geared to achieving career success is the aim of our business courses. Our School of Business offers a 'generic' business management course and a degree which focuses on the needs of the food and agribusiness sector.
Food Production and Supply Management
Food supply chains provide the link between primary producers and the consumer through intermediaries such as processors, manufacturers...
Rural Land & Property Management
We have a long history and enviable reputation as a supplier of education and training for the future leaders of the land and property professions.
Foundation Degrees
Foundation degrees are designed to improve and develop the nation's skills and education post-18 and have been well received by employers, who consider them to be a valuable qualification.
Top-up Degrees
These top-up courses have been developed to enable students with prior qualifications at foundation degree or HND level to top up to a BSc Honours award in one further year of full-time study.
