ATV:  Quad bike – Operation including Implements and Loads (LANTRA Integrated Test & Assessment)

The ATV is a relatively new machine in agriculture and there have been some serous accidents because of operators lacking the skills required for its safe use. It is important for the operator to understand, utilise and maintain the machine correctly to ensure safe operation and reliability.

ATV: Quad Trekking

A half day quad bike trek, scrambling over 100 acres of the Cotswolds undulating countryside. After a safety briefing and initial training on flat ground you are ready. Time to hit the tracks and really get the most out of your escorted trek. The session ends in a full hose down it it’s muddy.

OVER 16’s ONLY: Quad bikes are NOT allowed to have under 16 yrs riding them.

This is a Lantra registered Land Based course for trainees wishing to operate dumper trucks either in land based occupations or possibly on non MGC registered building sites. The course content fully complies with the requirements of the HSE and PUWER regulations.

This day course covers the theory update, driver refreshment, training and assessment for lift truck operators. This is a Lantra Awards course designed for experienced operators who require a certificate of basic training. Training and Assessment adhere to the Approved Code of Practice (ACOP) for rider operated lift trucks.

Experience will also be given in the use of front end loaders, trailer tipping, fitting and operation of power take-off driven equipment.
