Graduate Diploma in Agriculture

The Graduate Diploma in Agriculture short course provides an opportunity for non-agriculturalists to re-direct their careers through the study of a tailor-made academic programme suited to their future career aspirations.

As a recognised academic qualification at BSc Honours equivalent level, the GDA provides an ideal opportunity for graduates and employees in disciplines outside agriculture to gain a solid foundation in agriculture, food production and rural land management topics.

Students can decide the focus of their studies by selecting at least half of their study programme from modules chosen from many of our highly-regarded undergraduate or postgraduate courses, according to particular career goals or interests.

Study Options

The Graduate Diploma in Agriculture short course may be studied full-time over one academic year (30-weeks), or part-time over two, three or four years. You are able to choose the pattern, in consultation with the Course Manager, which best suits your individual circumstances.
