Academic Support
As an international student, you are involved in a fantastic and often life-changing experience. However, moving away from home and to a completely new country can mean some big adjustments. We understand that overseas students may need extra support, either academically and/or personally. Carol is the International Teaching Support Officer and she is able to offer academic and personal support. She is located in the Garner Lecture Block so please say hello and introduce yourself or visit her for support.
Living in the UK - Advice and Guidance
For advice and help with opening bank accounts, visas, council tax, accommodation and registering with the police, you should contact the Registry and Admissions Department at admissions@rac.ac.uk. For help with disabilities, you should contact Dr John Conway at john.conway@rac.ac.uk or extension 2234
Join the International Society!
Students from all backgrounds - including UK students - may like to join the International Society (I-SOC), an inclusive society for all RAC students. It’s a great way to meet new people and really get involved and enjoy your life at the College. The Society runs social activities and celebrates events from the international calendar – so come along and share your culture!
