The Scholarship Scheme was established to provide worthy students with the support necessary to work towards achieving their full personal potential during their period of study at the College.

Am I Eligible for a Scholarship?

The table below outlines the scholarships available for prospective RAC students. Click on the name of the scholarship for more detailed information. Please note that you cannot apply for a scholarship until you have been offered a place.

NFU Mutual Charitable Trust Centenary Award

Up to 75% of tuition fees

Open to students of the British Islands who have gained, or are currently expected to gain, a 2:1 or above in agriculture (or a closely related degree), and have been accepted or provisionally accepted on a Masters or PhD course in agriculture in the British Islands commencing in the Autumn of 2011.

Can I Apply for More Than One Scholarship?

You can but generally will not need to do so. If you complete the online application form, once you have been offered a place, we will consider you against the criteria for all awards and select the most appropriate.

Can I Apply for a Scholarship if I Hold a Conditional Place?

Yes.

Can I Apply for a Scholarship if I'm Already an RAC Student?

Yes, some are available to current students.

How will I Know if my Application has Been Successful?

Your application will be acknowledged and all applicants, both successful and unsuccessful will receive a formal letter informing them of the outcome.

How do I apply?

Applications should be sent to the College by 31st July using the online application form, together with supporting evidence. Please download and ask your referee to complete the Scholarship Reference Form; the referee should be your most recent school/university tutor or employer. We do not accept references from family members. Please note Scholarship applications cannot be considered without a satisfactory reference. Additional information may be requested at a later date.

The closing date for the first round of Sir Emrys Jones Memorial Trust Scholarship applications this year will be 30th July 2011. Postgraduate students may apply after this date but not later than the end of September. Late applications may be considered should funds be available.
