Academic Excellence Scholarships

The Royal Agricultural College (RAC) is delighted to announce a new addition to our generous range of scholarships, designed to attract and reward the brightest students, regardless of background.

All new RAC undergraduate students who achieve at least AAB grades at A-Level (or equivalent) will be eligible to receive the Academic Excellence Scholarship.

Each scholarship will be worth £2000 over two years (with £1000 payable in the first year of study as an accommodation waiver and a further £1000 payable in the second year as a cash bursary).

Any student who selects the Royal Agricultural College as their firm choice with UCAS and achieves at least AAB at A-Level or equivalent (excluding A-Level General Studies) will automatically be awarded a scholarship.

Terms and conditions:

Scholarship awards will be made only to candidates who accept their offer from the Royal Agricultural College as their Conditional Firm (CF) or Unconditional Firm (UF) choice.

The scholarship will be available to new full-time UK, EU and Overseas undergraduate students.

Awarding of the second instalment is subject to the student maintaining a 60% average across all first year modules.

Only one Royal Agricultural College managed scholarship can be held at any one time, this includes those provided by the Royal Agricultural College National Scholarship Programme (NSP).

Most first year students live on campus. Only those first year students who cannot be accommodated by the RAC within halls of residence will receive the first instalment as a cash bursary. All other students will receive the first instalment as an accommodation waiver.

The RAC endeavours to ensure that this information is correct. However, the RAC accepts no legal liability for errors or omissions and reserves the right to make changes without notice.

Funding for Academic Excellence Scholarships for Welsh students is kindly provided by the Sir Emrys Jones Trust.
