An accommodation guide and application form will be sent out, via email, to all applicants by Monday 19th March 2012. We will send these out to the email addresses that were supplied to Registry, so please check that the email address you have given is correct, and remember to notify of us of any changes.
Upon receipt of the Residence Contract, please be sure to read and refresh your memory of the Terms and Conditions of Residence prior to signing.
Please return the signed contract within 14 days to be sure to secure your room in RAC accommodation.
If you accept College residence, the contract is for a minimum of one full academic year. The dates for the academic year 2012 / 2013 are 24th September 2012 – 21st June 2013 (totalling 38 weeks).
If a student wishes to withdraw from College residence once the year has started they shall remain liable for all charges associated with the accommodation. A refund of the remainder of the accommodation premium will only be made once a suitable replacement resident is found who meets with the approval of the Accommodation Office. The replacement must be a registered student of the College who is not already in College residence. Please be aware that the liability to cover the charge for the study bedroom will not cease until such point as a replacement resident is found for the room (this scenario may not be guaranteed).
The College will do everything possible to ensure that rooms have been allocated satisfactorily. Once your room has been allocated, any changes at your request are subject to availability and will incur an administration fee of £50. You may not change room except by arrangement with the Accommodation Officer.
