Disability / Dyslexia Support

Disabled people are entitled to equal access to education and employment. The Royal Agricultural College wishes to ensure that disabled students are treated no less favourably in their academic studies and wishes to ensure they reach their full potential. The College employs a Disability Officer who manages all issues surrounding dyslexia and disability for the College.

There are many types of disability; visible or hidden; physical (sight, speech, hearing or mobility impairment) or mental health impairments or long term medical conditions. The most frequently encountered is dyslexia and the College employs a specialist dyslexia tutor.

If you have dyslexia or any other form of disability please contact Dr John Conway (john.conway@rac.ac.uk) or phone 01285 652531 ext 2234. There are many adjustments that can be made to your programme of study and exams that can only be authorised by the Disability Officer. All conversations are confidential.
