The Royal Agricultural College Careers Service offers guidance and career advice to students and graduates.  We have a wide range of resources to help you, whether you're just starting to think about work or you're changing career and need some direction. We're a friendly team with a great deal of enthusiasm for what we do.

The Careers Service offers advice on:

  • How to find and develop a career.
  • Identifying and developing your skills.
  • Finding a job or work placement.
  • Applications, CV's and interviews.
  • Further study options.
  • Thinking about self employment.

What Resources are Available?

  • Drop-in guidance sessions or pre-book an appointment with a Careers Adviser.
  • A range of resources including reference books, careers publications, magazines and books are available.
  • We have many free publications from Prospects, Targetjobs and other similar organisations for you to take away.  We also receive a variety of student focused magazines and brochures from employers advertising their Graduate Schemes.

Appointments for one-to-one guidance

Guidance appointments are available to students of any year and graduates within three years of graduation.  A one to one appointment with our careers adviser will help you define what you want from your career and give guidance on planning your next steps.
