The RAC Enterprise Team offer budding entrepreneurs and business stars a chance to shine and develop their skills whilst studying at the College. The team organise events and competitions throughout the academic year which aim to help students gain invaluable experience and feedback on business ideas.

Competitions include the Grand Idea which is run throughout the academic year and provides students with a chance to gain mentoring support in developing their ideas, before pitching in a Dragon Den style competition. While the Grassroutes Challenge, puts students head to head with competitor Land Based Universities to solve a business problem in six hours!

Other activities the team offer include the RAC Entrepreneurs Club (RACE), established in 2006 by a group of entrepreneurial students, and still run by students for students; the club have launched their own micro business 'Muddy Wellies' which markets and distributes a bottled real ale. Plans are also in place to add a cider and lager to the product range. This provides students with a great opportunity to learn new skills that will ensure their CV stands out from the crowd on gradation.

RACE also provides a great chance to meet like minded friends and mix with other students from different courses and years of study.
